WORK BOAT WORLD ASIA 2001

      7/11/2000

WORK BOAT WORLD ASIA 2001

At least thirty of the most significant ship and boat builders from around South East Asia, India, Sri Lanka, Australia and the Gulf will be showing their wares at the Work Boat World Asia 2001 conference and exhibition to be held at Suntec City in Singapore on February 20 - 22, 2001.

Work Boat World Asia 2001 is aimed at owners, and operators of all kinds of commercial and military vessels up to around 130 metres in length. It covers tugs, offshore support vessels, ferries, patrol, pilot and rescue boats, pollution recovery vessels, fishing boats, smaller warships, and all kinds of workboats. Builders of all these types of vessels and more have confirmed their intention to exhibit.

As well as this wide range of leading builders, proportionate numbers of other suppliers to the industry, such as engine and electronics manufacturers, safety equipment suppliers, paints, coats and materials manufacturers, governments, classification societies, and just about any other organisation involved with the small ship industry are exhibiting also.
At this early stage - more than seven months from the event - it looks as though the second edition of Work Boat World Asia will be about double the size of the first very successful event. For further information, please contact either our Melbourne or London offices, the contact details of which appear on this press release.
