Wireless Video Systems

Anteon Corp. (Fairfax, Virginia, USA) has developed a line of small, lightweight handheld and wearable wireless video systems that offer important operational capability for boarding and search teams, damage control teams, advanced reconnaissance teams, and shore security units. Pocklt Eye can provide commanders real-time situational awareness of remote teams. Now, boarding parties, shore security units or repair teams can communicate with real-time, TV-quality, two-way video and audio capability.

The PockIt Eye system allows wireless transmission of situational awareness to other PDAs or central monitoring stations. The system can be configured with GPS to provide pinpoint positioning of the remote team’s location, and digital recording equipment for documentation; litigation or training. The system is compatible with Anteon’s Pocketmultimedia (PMM) system and offers a wide range of video server options. PMM servers provide full-screen, full-frame rate video over wired and wireless links to hand-held PCs, enabling a host of new hand-held applications.
