Following the success of the work boat world asia event in singapore in February, it has been decided to hold a similar show “Work Boat World Europe”, in Venice in April 2002. The organizer, baird publications, has arranged with the Port of Venice to hold the event in the Venice Passenger Terminal. As well as providing excellent access to the very vibrant market in the large area centered on Venice, work boat world europe will provide the usual excellent networking and sales opportunities offered by all baird publications events.

Exhibition Director, enrica capretti said: “We have undertaken considerable market research which indicates there is a definite opening for an event of this kind. Italy has a huge commercial and military marine industry but there is no trade show to serve it. As well, the surrounding areas of southern Germany, Austria, France, Slovenia and Croatia are similarly deprived of a commercial and military marine trade event. The baird publications formula for marine trade shows has been very effective elsewhere. We seen no reason why it cannot work just as well in Europe”, she explained.

Already, a number of exhibitors from other Baird events such as Ausmarine and work boat world asia have confirmed their participation in work boat world europe.
