The Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI) is an independent, non-profit trade association formed in 1968 to promote the interests and advancement of the marine industry in Singapore. To date, there are more than 130 members.

  • Represents most of the established shiprepair yards, oil rig builders, shipbuilders, and marine components manufacturers and suppliers, marine engineering servicing companies & other related companies
  • Promotes development of productivity schemes, skill upgrading programs, new technology, safety, health & environmental standards to further enhance the reputation of the industry in Singapore.
  • Coordinated body for dialogue sessions with relevant policy-making authorities and marine-related bodies. Regular programs & fellowship events to foster closer rapport & cooperation within industry.
The Association will continue to play a pivotal role in linking up the Singapore marine industry and steering the industry to meet new challenges.
