CEDA, an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, professional society, aims to provide a forum for all those involved with any kind of activity related to dredging and marine construction and who live or work in Europe, Africa or the Middle-East.

Promotes the development and exchange of professional knowledge, - scientific, technical, regulatory and managerial - in all fields concerned with dredging and dredged material management.

Enhances contacts between individuals and various professional entities concerned with dredging and associated matters and between the dredging community and the society in which it works.

As an NGO, CEDA has an observer status from the London, Oslo-Paris Conventions. By providing objective, good, technical and scientific information, CEDA contributes to the work of these bodies.
