Drogheda Port is located on the east coast of Ireland 45km from Dublin and 115km from Belfast. It is a multi modal port with direct weekly services to scandanavia and continental europe. It has built its reputation on high level of customer service.

  • Lysline operate a twice weekly conventional\container service to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Norfolkline and Geest North Sea Line offer twice weekly containers services to Rotterdam.
  • A new deepwater port facility at Tom Roes Point Terminal has been recently opened. It is a 14 acre modern general cargo and container terminal. Vessels up to 120m and 6000dwt can be accomodated.
  • Main imports are timber, steel, containers, paper, fertilizer, grain, petroleum, LPG. Exports are magnesite, cement, grain, containers.
Current Development Plans include the development of a dedicated container terminal with accompanying road and rail infrastructure.
