Marine & Industrial Safety Association [M*I*S*A*] is a bilingual business dedicated to provide a one stop service for commercial fishermen in the Gulf of Mexico and the south east coast, from marine safety and survival training to crew completion.
Our customized curriculum follows AMSEA's and USMSA's guidelines. Hundreds of crewmembers have trained as drill leaders and first aid and cpr certificate holders. Spanish courses are our specialty.
We operate the southernmost Zodiac life raft service station in Texas. Located at the Laguna Madre Enterprise Center in Port Isabel's fishing harbor, we are just feet away from our clients.
We have been assisting clients to obtain temporary alien workers under the H2b program to complete their boat's crew since 1991. Offices are located at Brownsville's Shrimp Basin.
We assist clients to reduce the severity of fines after boardings-at-sea. A pre-inspection is conducted before any dock-inspection by US Coast Guard personnel. Our goal is to correct all deficiencies within the time frame suggested by USCG personnel.
