Mentanza Pty Ltd designs and manufactures geosynthetic secondary containment and sediment control systems for the mining, dredging and port construction industry. We specialise in floating turbidity, silt and sediment curtains.

  • Type I curtains are used for sheltered water applications, with minimal current flow and a skirt depth to six metres.
  • Type II curtains have enhanced tensioning systems over Type I which allow them to be used in up to 2 knots of current. Dependant upon flow rate skirts up to 30m deep can be configured.
  • Type III curtains are configured for long term heavy duty installation using either integrated floatation, rotomoulded floats or fabricated heavy duty HDPE pipe floats to 1.0m diameter
Our diverse experience in both operations and manufacture enable us to configure system specific to client needs dependant upon the environment in which the product is to be deployed and the desired outcome of a specific installation.
