MBZ is the authority for the port of Zeebrugge in Belgium. Zeebrugge is a relatively new port, with regular lines to Great Britain, Scandinavia, America, Asia and Africa. If you want to know more, aks for our free information brochures.

  • Zeebrugge is Europe's leading roro port, and has services to thirteen major ports on the British Isles, but also to Scandinavia, to the Iberian Peninsula and to non-European destinations.
  • In recent years, Zeebrugge has become one of Europe's important container ports, with services to all continents. General cargo is also booming and includes fresh fruis, agri-bulk, timber, etc.
  • Zeebrugge possesses extensive capacities for receiving and distributing ores, coal and cokes. Liquified natural gas is imported by LNG-carries from Algeria ald also by pipe-lines.
The port of Bruges-Zeebrugge is Belgium's second port in order of importance of treight traffic. Thanks to its location - on the coast line of the North Sea - and its easy access channel, it can receive the deepest drawn ships.
