The PWSCC Training Department exists to provide developmental academic and vocational education, training, and community interest courses to its service community, focusing on Oil Spill Management and Safety Management.

  • PWSCC oversees the Prince William Sound Oil Spill Response Simulator. We provide state of the art oil spill response simulations using Incident Command principles and oil recovery techniques.
  • The simulator is the only one of its kind on the West Coast, programs can be adapted to situations unique to your location.
  • PWSCC provides instruction in applications such as Hazardous Waste, Environmental Technologies, Oil Spill Recovery, Curriculum Development, Marine Vessel Safety and Regulatory compliance.
The PWSCC Training Department serves both academic as well as industry needs by providing a viable, cost-effective way to assist clients in achieving academic curriculum or regulatory training.
