The Unit of Maritime Management Training of Satakunta Polytechnic is located in the town of Rauma on the south-west coast of Finland. It offers high-level training programmes aimed at the Sea Captain's and Maritime Engineerīs Degrees.

We offer both basic and specialised training courses in navigation, cargo handling and stowage, seamanship, marine engineering, electrical engineering, maintenance and repair, and radio communication.

Our comprehensive maritime simulator facilities cover the training in navigation, shiphandling, BRM, VTMS, GMDSS, SAR, OSC, tanker cargo operations, engine room and shipīs power plant operations.

We have an average of 160 full-time and some 100 short-course students.
