Why not a simple crankshaft deflection?

It'd have to be fairly damn rough weather to worry a main engine!!

foundation bolts ,chocking arrangement especially thrust block arrangement as chances of large axial thrust frm prop is expected in bad weather,also shafting and intermediate brg should be observed fr any damage.
